Quick Enhancements to PowerPoint

PowerPoint has many bells and whistles that one can spend hours adding and customizing. Here is a short list of the bells and whistles that might help you quickly enhance a presentation.

Creation Tips and Tools

Start your presentation with a blank slide for a cleaner kickoff to the presentation.
Apply a design template to your presentation to minimize the need to choose a color scheme.
- Create a design template if you do not like the default options.
Insert slides from a previous presentation into your new presentation.
When you have presentation content in outline form in Word or a Text Editor, PowerPoint can make you slides from that outline.
Hide slides that don't apply for a particular audience instead of deleting the slide.
Use hyperlinks to allow you to jump between slides with ease.
Animate text using the preset animation setting "apply" to save the time that custom animation takes.
Change all instances of a selected fonts by using "Replace Font".
Change the layout of a slide after you create it to better meet the content of the slide.
Apply the same slide transitions to your presentation for consistancy.
