Mathematica

Mathematica is available on the public lab computers in Carr 204, Carr 206, Carr 106, Bio-Tippie, Quigley 220, Carnegie 105, Murray 117, Murray 116, Caflisch 24/7, Library BI Classroom and the Ruter Language Lab and on the all instructor's computers in the classrooms. It is also available on faculty computers (look in the Programs menu under Courseware).

Students who wish to purchase a personal copy of Mathematica should see our Software Downloads page.

Under the terms of our Mathematica site license, faculty may request home use copies of Mathematica to install on their home computer(s). To request a home use copy of Mathematica, or an upgrade to an existing home use license, complete this home-use request form (Allegheny's site license number can be obtained by opening Mathematica on your office computer and clicking Help > About Mathematica...) or contact your instructional technologist. You can install Mathematica on as many home computers as you wish, but you must request a separate home use license for each one.
