As you have gathered by now Web 2.0 is about users creating, sharing, and organizing content. Del.icio.us is one of the many tools that allow users to bookmark web pages and apply keywords, more commonly referred to as tags, for personal and collaborative use.
Task 1: Learn more about del.icio.us by reviewing the about page and a confession from a delicious addict. Both provide a good overview of the tool as well as possible uses.
Task 1a: (optional): If that inspires you consider registering for an account making sure you understand the terms of service, privacy policy, and copyright policy.Task 1b: (optional): Once you have created the your account, install a bookmarklet, to make tagging your web resources easier. With your delicious bookmarklet installed visit the Learning Web 2.0 page, click on the delicious bookmarklet and tag the page with aclearn, refit, web2.0 and any other keywords you wish to include. Here are some tips from del.icio.us to consider as you tag your resources.
Task 1c: (optional): Add a link to your del.icio.us account to your blog roll.
Task 2: Search del.icio.us for web2.0. Notice how many resources are tagged web2.0. To refine your search type multiple tags, separated by a space, into the search box.
Search for "web2.0 aclearn" and take a moment or three to browse through the results noticing the tags assigned and the number of people who have also tagged it.
Search for resources on a topic of personal interest. Make sure you click on the 'saved by XXX people link' to view the others that saved this page and the notes they use to describe the resource.

Task 3: Your blog post for the Tags and Folksonomies topic can be about del.icio.us if you like. Please see Exercise 4 in the Technorati post for some topic suggestions. Keep in mind that you can create as many blog posts as you like, so if you'd like to write about both del.icio.us and Technorati, go right ahead!
